Course Curriculum

Certificate in Wedding Planning and Coordination:
The course is made up of Lectures, Industry Speakers, Group work and Home-study. A Course Manual will be provided, but it is designed to be enhanced by the Student's own note-taking. Therefore, the manual helpfulness is determined by the student them self.

2 Days of In-class Instruction + 2 weeks Home Study + Final Exam = Certification

Day 1:

Interactive Do's and Don'ts Table: Students must choose which is correct/incorrect , proper etiquette, etc. The table is designed to surprise the students and leads to several anecdotes. An experience few could forget!

Guest Speakers may include either a Cake Baker (with samples!), a Make-up Artist (to do a sample on someone), a local successful Wedding Coordinator or a Professional DJ. They will speak about what they expect from a Wedding Coordinator.

Final Certification Exam

The Final Certification Exam is web-based. You have 200 minutes to complete the Exam. There are 80 questions drawn randomly from a pool of 120 questions. The Certification Exam is worth 40% of your Final Grade and must be passed with an overall mark of 60% or higher.

*Upon completion of the final exam, a certificate will be mailed to successful students in 8-12 weeks
